Galaxolide®

Galaxolide is a clean and powerful polycyclic musk which, even in extreme overdoses of 40% or more, allows the other materials in a fragrance to shine through. It is a highly appreciated musk by consumers. It adds fixation and exaltation to all fragrances and is frequently blended with other musks which often take the role of modifiers.

Galaxolide is often the single largest aromachemical in luxury fragrance brands such as Tom Ford, Amouage and Creed. It's low cost and popular appeal make it a must-have for all perfumers.

NOTE: pure Galaxolide is extremely viscous so it needs heat to make it fluid. For that reason we are selling it here in the standard 50% dilution from IFF as well as pure. Be sure to check your dilution prior to buying.
